ORANGE PARK, Fla. — Clay County Fire and Rescue said four apartments were damaged in a fire in Orange Park.
Firefighters did say if anyone was injured of how the fire may have been started. Firefighters have gotten the fire under control.
The Clay County Sheriff’s Office said some people in the area had to evacuate because of the fire.
The Apartment fire on Wells Rd & Cedar Bend Dr is under control. An estimated 4 units in 1 apartment building have some fire, smoke & water damage. #ClayCoFireRescue, Orange Park FD, #JFRD, and NAS Jacksonville sent responding units. #ClayCoFireRescue Engines 17, 18 and 19, Ladder 26, and Rescues 18 and 19 are responding to an apartment fire at the 2,000 block of Wells Road. Smoke and flames were seen through an apartment window. Firefighters are hooking up to a hydrant now.
