Four Jacksonville teens linked to deadly home invasion in Woodstock neighborhood

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Four teenagers have been charged with murder in a deadly home invasion in Jacksonville over Labor Day weekend.

According to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office, three boys, ages 14, 15, and 16, as well as a 15-year-old girl have all been arrested. Action News Jax is not identifying the young suspects by name due to their age.

Around 8 p.m. on Sept. 6 police reported a 28-year-old man had been shot inside a home on Huron St. He was later pronounced dead at a nearby hospital.

The family told Action News Jax it was all caught on Ring cameras. They claimed a group of minors started robbing the house. From there, they did not want to go into details, but by the time the group left they stole Jordans, food, and a 28-year-old, nicknamed “Hallelujah,” had been shot.

The teens are charged with second-degree felony murder and home invasion robbery with a deadly weapon.

Our crime and safety expert, Dale Carson said if this is the case, they will all face the same charges.

“Everyone involved can be charged with that major crime. They are all co-conspirators.”
