Coronavirus: How to be tested for antibodies through OneBlood

If you donate blood with One Blood, you can find out if you have the COVID-19 antibody.

The antibody test can indicate if your immune system has produced antibodies to the virus, regardless of whether you’ve shown any symptoms.

One Blood said donors can see their antibody test results approximately 48 hours after donating by logging into their donor portal at www.oneblood.org.

Interested blood donors must make an appointment online at www.oneblood.org or by calling 1-888-9DONATE to help maintain social distancing measures.

The COVID-19 antibody testing will also provide information that could help reopen the economy.

OneBlood said it is one of the first blood centers to begin testing for the coronavirus antibody and plans to continue providing the testing in the foreseeable future.
