Hurricane Irma: Building sea foam, rough water not deterring beachgoers

Building sea foam and rough water is not deterring people from Jacksonville Beach.

Action News Jax reporter Cole Heath is live at the beach where the sea foam is up to his knees.

There are many people on the beach, including a kite surfer who is in the water.

The beaches are closed and there is a mandatory evacuation in place as Hurricane Irma begins to move north across the state.
