I-95 reopens Friday morning after semitruck-involved crash in St. Johns County

ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla — 7:57 a.m. Friday update: All southbound lanes have reopened.

7:05 a.m. Friday update: Crews are reopening the center southbound lane on I-95 after CR 210. There is s still a four-mile back up.

5 a.m. Friday update: According to the Troop Watch supervisor of St. Johns County, two semitrucks and a car were involved in a crash Thursday night on I-95 South, beyond County Road 210, blocking all southbound lanes in the area.

On Friday morning, one southbound lane has opened, but two other lanes remain closed as crews clean up the area.

Officials say one of the semitruck drivers was injured in the crash and was taken to a Memorial hospital in Jacksonville. The injuries are not life-threatening.
