NORTHEAST FLORIDA — The break from showers and storms is gone as quickly as it came.
Action News Jax Meteorologist Corey Simma is tracking an increase of clouds Tuesday morning, giving way to rain later in the day. By the afternoon we’ll notice some isolated shows, but a higher chance of rain comes much later.
Temperatures will reach highs into the lower to mid 70s and dropping tonight closer to 60 degrees.
Also tonight, there will be some thunder and lightning and neighborhoods south of I-10 have a threat for severe weather.
Rain continues on Wednesday, so keep the umbrella close by. After that, we’ll get a quick break from the wet weather then the next rain maker swings through late Friday into Saturday as temperatures stay pretty mild staying close to the 80s.
