The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office is investigating after a man suspected of robbing Chase Bank on 1140 Dunn Avenue was detained at the Jacksonville International Airport on Tuesday afternoon.

According to JSO, they responded to a panic alarm at the bank at 4:15 p.m. and determined it was a robbery upon arrival.

JSO said the suspect entered the bank and approached the teller and passed them a note.
The teller complied and the suspect exited the bank with an undisclosed amount of money, according to JSO.
The suspect was described as a black make, 6' to 6' 4" and 160 to 190 pounds, wearing a long sleeve grey shirt, black pants with a black pack.
Later, a person matching the suspects description was stopped by Jacksonville International Airport Police.
The suspect is now in JSO custody.
