A Jacksonville man who was on Facebook Live during a police raid in 2017 has been convicted of murder, according to State Attorney Melissa Nelson.

Breon Hollings, 24, was found guilty of second-degree murder and aggravated assault for the death of Eric White.

In April of 2017, Hollings reportedlty arranged a meeting with White on Amazon Avenue around 3 a.m. and with three other co-conspirators, he ambushed him and his girlfriend who were in their vehicle.
Officials said 15 shots were fired at White.The girlfriend attempted to drive away but a bullet fatally struck White.
Hollings faces a maximum of life in prison as a habitual offender, Nelson stated.
Hollings was arrested on separate charges by officers of the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office during a raid of his home while he was appearing to flash money on Facebook Live in 2017.
Officers said they found a handgun, crack cocaine, ammunition, oxycodone pills and drug paraphernalia at his home on Amazon Avenue, according to an arrest report.
