Jacksonville among top up-and-coming cities in America, report says

Jacksonville is ranked as the second most up-and-coming city in the U.S. according to a report released Tuesday by Yelp.

Yelp looked at data points for each business in 50 different cities to determine the metrics according to Time.com.

The River City came in second just behind Charlotte and passed Omaha, Charleston, Las Vegas, Tampa, Dallas, Salt Lake City, and Houston.

Yelp created overall rankings and provided TIME with rankings in 10 subcategories, from restaurants to outdoor activities and nightlife.

Jacksonville ranked second in shopping, second for food, second for health and medical, third in restaurants, sixth for automotive, seventh for beauty and spas, eighth in night life, ninth for event planning and services, 11th for home services and 25th for active life.
