Jacksonville nurse who adopted severely abused twins surprised with gift on Jimmy Fallon's show

On Tuesday's episode on "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon", Jess Hamm, a Jacksonville nurse, was surprised with $100,000 to go toward a college education for her twin daughters.

Action News Jax first brought you Hamm's heartwarming story in February, when she adopted two severely abused twin girls after meeting one of the girls during her shift in the intensive care unit at Wolfson's Children's Hospital.

The story has since gone viral.

Fallon partnered with Barbie and gave the girls the $100,000 during a Christmas-themed episode.
