JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A man died after being shot in the torso was Monday morning in the Woodlane Acres area of Jacksonville, police said.
Officers identified Jason Bryan Horton, 25, who lived on Dandy Avenue.
Jacksonville police responded around 10 a.m. to the 7900 block of Dandy Avenue, which is four blocks south of Woodland Acres Elementary School.
Horton was taken to the hospital after being shot in the torso, Jacksonville police said.
There currently is no suspect information and the investigation is ongoing.
