Jacksonville teens charged with planning attack on Bolles School

Two teens are charged with planning an attack on a prestigious private school in Jacksonville.

Action News Jax reported on Wednesday that threats at the Bolles School came after a fight between the two teens.

The 15-year-old and 17-year-old have since been arrested.

According to their arrest reports, both teens were arrested Friday after being dispatched from River Point Hospital on Beach Blvd.

Sources now tell Action News Jax the attack was planned for Thursday, but administrators never found any weapons on campus.

The school president sent out a statement to parents that reads in part:

"Even though the comments were made at an earlier time, the School nevertheless took them seriously, investigated the concern immediately, contacted law enforcement and removed the boys from campus."

The president also said the teens would not be returning to the Bolles School.
