First Alert Weather: Brutally hot, with relief in view

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — WATCH LIVE: First Alert Chief Meteorologist Mike Buresh has your First Alert forecast on FOX30 at 6:30.

Still very hot for Tuesday evening as feels like temperatures remain around 100 degrees up until sunset.

A few storms will go along Hwy 301 in Northeast Florida during the mid to late evening, but most neighborhoods are dry Tuesday evening. A few more scattered showers and storms arrive for Wednesday as highs remain in the lower to mid-90s.

Thursday is still hot as the Jacksonville Jaguars' first preseason home game could see a lingering shower early. Afternoon temps dip into the upper 80s for the weekend, with more rain expected.
