• First Alert Weather: Tracking another hot day, afternoon storms as students head back to school

    JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - First Alert Chief Meteorologist Mike Buresh will be tracking afternoon and evening storms beginning at 5 p.m. on CBS47 and FOX30:

     

    Scattered storms expected to break out again inland Monday afternoon/evening, mainly west of I-95. It will be HOT outdoors into the evening and overnight. A few isolated showers and storms will develop again Tuesday as temperatures remain in the lower 90s and feels like temps above 100. We will be tracking storms each day this week in the afternoons.
