Jacksonville woman wins $2 million playing new holiday Florida Lottery scratch off game

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A local woman played a new holiday lottery scratch-off game and claimed the first $2 million top prize.

Jacquelyn James, 64, Jacksonville, chose to claim her prize in a lump-sum payment of $1,530,000, according to the Florida Lottery.

She purchased the winning $10 HOLIDAY LUCK scratch-off game at Joes Food Mart located at 15411 North Main Street in Jacksonville, the Florida Lottery said.

The store will receive $4,000 as a bonus commission for selling the winning ticket.

The new scratch-off game launched in October and has two top prizes of $2 million. The odds of winning are 1 in 3.39.
