Jaguars fans have high hopes for Nick Foles and many are welcoming the new quarterback with open arms.

While fans are excited, some are having mixed emotions about seeing Blake Bortles go.
One person said on Twitter, “Best of luck … Believe it or not some of us fans do appreciate what you did for the organization and the community.”
Jacksonville Mayor Lenny Curry also shared his thanks in a tweet, saying: Blake means a lot to Jacksonville, highlighting his charitable work and the 2017 playoff run.

“I love Blake Bortles but I think it was time for something new and hopefully Nick Foles will lead us to bigger and better things,” fan Mack Howard said.
Other fans hope Foles will breathe new life into the team – and offense.

“The offense I feel like will be rejuvenated. Different things you can do with the offense now that might have been limited before,” Andrew Salinas said. “It’s going to be an exciting time for the Jaguars and Jaguars fans, too.”
Some fans are already trying to get their hands on Foles’ No. 7 jersey.
A spokesperson for Fanatics says they immediately began offering it online after the deal was announced Wednesday and in 24 hours, it became the second best selling jersey in this free agent class behind Odell Beckham Jr.
Sports Mania tells Action News Jax they hope to have the jerseys in next week.
