Details: Help our area's only children's hospital by participating in Christmas in July. You can buy toys directly online through the website or by dropping off toys at any local Jersey Mike’s Subs location.

Date: Friday, July 7 and Saturday, July 8 at the Florida Theatre

Details: Don’t miss Katt Williams Great American Comedy Tour this Friday and Saturday night.

Event: Congaree and Penn Open Farm Day

Date: Saturday, July 8

Details: Admission is $10 per car. Come out to the farm and explore by foot or bike. You can see rice paddies, acres of Mawhaw orchards, honeybees, the Congaree Creek Chickens and an olive orchard.

Event: Asian Food Festival

Date: Saturday, July 8 from 5 p.m. tp 9 p.m. in Hemming Park

Details: The third annual Asian Food Festival will have authentic Asian dishes, live music, vendor artists and much more. This event is free and open to the public.

Event: The Big Chill at Jacksonville Zoo and Gardens

Date: Saturday, July 8 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Details: Come chill out this Saturday at the zoo. There will be cool zones set up to keep you frosty and your kids entertained with water play stations. There will also be free Dippin Dots for kids 12 and under while supplies last. The event is free with standard zoo admission.

Date: Saturday and Sunday at the Atlantic Beach Experimental Theatre

Details: St. Augustine actress Anne Kraft will be performing Joan Didion’s powerful memoir “The Year of Magical Thinking”.

Event: Mauli Ola Foundation Talk Series

Date: Saturday, July 8 at 5 p.m. at Surfer the Bar

Details: There will be a talk series about the Mauli Ola Foundation and their mission, live music and a silent auction. Come learn about natural therapies for individuals living with genetic diseases.
