• JEA crews repair water main break at New Berlin Road

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Update: According to JEA, New berling Road has reopened following a waiter main break.

    Original Story:

JEA crews are working to repair a water main break in North Jacksonville on New Berlin Road just south of Faye Road.

JEA said the water main runs underneath the railroad tracks in the area and crews are working to get rid of the water, which has flooded that part of New Berlin Road.

They say they are planning to keep New Berlin Road closed south of Faye Road to New Berlin East until further notice.

JEA said the pipe carries reclaimed water, so drinking water is not affected.

The water main break is near an industrial part of North Jacksonville where there are a lot of contractors and engineers working in the area.
