JFRD: House fire in Beauclerc likely due to lightning strike

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department is responding to a house fire in the 9400 block of Beauclerc Oaks Drive.

Firefighters say the fire was likely started by a lightning strike.

No one is inside the home and everyone who lives there is accounted for. The fire is in the attic and firefighters say they now have it under control, but will be on scene to make sure it does not rekindle.
