JFRD: Zoo Parkway still backed up as fuel spill clean up continues

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Update 9:57 a.m.: The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office said all westbound lanes of Zoo Parkway are closed and only one eastbound lane is open while they continue cleaning up the fuel spill.

The Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department tweeted that it is on the scene of a wreck on Zoo Parkway in north Jacksonville that involved a tanker that turned over and leaked fuel.

JFRD said a hazmat team is on the scene to clean up the contamination.

The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office said all eastbound lanes of Zoo Parkway are closed due to the accident.
