Join in an immersion of the tastes, sights and sounds of Hispanic heritage and culture

JACKSONVILLE, Fla — In observance of Hispanic Heritage Month, the Original Jax Taco Fest is happening this weekend at the Jacksonville Fairgrounds. This Saturday the festivities will last from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.


In addition to tasting authentic Mexican tacos and Latin cuisine, hear live music by some of the area’s most celebrated Latin music artists such as Mandalla, Lisa & Alex, DJ Papidisco, DJ Rafa Mixx. Other event highlights include:

Saturday at 3 p.m. there will also be a Chihuahua Race! Watch dozens of Chihuahuas race to their owners at the finish line for prizes and bragging rights.

The Hot Chile Peppers & Taco Eating Contest is renowned for the fact that it is so hot you have to sign a waiver!
