JSO finds over two dozen guns, grenade near Sandalwood High

A 34-year-old Jacksonville man living with his father was arrested after a search for narcotics yielded a small arsenal, the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office said.

Joel Miniana was arrested after JSO arrived with a search warrant at his father's home near Sandalwood High School. His father refused to let police in, so they broke the door down, JSO said.

JSO said they found 20 handguns, five rifles, two shotguns, a grenade, a bulletproof vest, marijuana and ammunition.

Miniana is charged with marijuana possession with intent to sell.
