Jacksonville, FL. — JSO’s homicide unit is investigating an early Saturday morning shooting and car crash.
Police tell Action News Jax patrol officers heard gunshots at 5:15 a.m. Saturday morning on Harts road.
Upon arrival, officers found a white car and black car that collided, and a man in his mid-thirties with gunshot wounds in the black car.
The victim was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Police believe the crash was accidental, and that the driver of the white vehicle is cooperating.
Police do not have any suspect information at this time.
