JSO issues alert for missing man in Southwest Jacksonville

The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office has announced that Curtis Thomas has been located safe!

The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office is asking for the community’s help in locating a missing 72-year-old man.

Curtis Thomas was reported missing by his family and was last seen just after 1:15 p.m. at his home around Blanding Boulevard and Maggies Lane.

He reportedly suffers from dementia, and his safety is of primary concern.

Thomas is described as:

- Name: Curtis Thomas

- Age: 72

- Race/Sex: Black/Male

- Height/Weight: 5′11″/146 Ibs.

- Eyes/Hair: Brown/Salt and Pepper

- Clothing: Red shirt, dark colored shorts, and Orange and Black shoes

Anyone having seen Mr. Thomas or who may know his whereabouts is asked to immediately call 911 or the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office at 904-630-0500 immediately
