The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office has announced that Curtis Thomas has been located safe!

The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office is asking for the community’s help in locating a missing 72-year-old man.

Curtis Thomas was reported missing by his family and was last seen just after 1:15 p.m. at his home around Blanding Boulevard and Maggies Lane.

He reportedly suffers from dementia, and his safety is of primary concern.

Thomas is described as:

- Name: Curtis Thomas

- Age: 72

- Race/Sex: Black/Male

- Height/Weight: 5′11″/146 Ibs.

- Eyes/Hair: Brown/Salt and Pepper

- Clothing: Red shirt, dark colored shorts, and Orange and Black shoes
