A man accused of shooting and killing his lover's 61-year-old husband in Jacksonville shot himself as officers entered an abandoned house he was hiding in, officials said.
Police were searching for Lance Lee Norman, 33, after Keeble Grant, 61, was shot and killed.
Officers said Norman was apparently having an affair with Grant's wife.
Grant was shot in front of his apartment at Canopy Creek Apartments in the 11200 block of Harts Road just after midnight on Saturday.

Norman fled in a Toyota Prius, according to police.
Officers found his car about a block from his home around 12:15 p.m. and tracked him to an abandoned house nearby.
Norman shot himself in the head as police entered the home, officers said.
He was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Action News Jax is told Grant was a father and grandfather, and worked for a trucking company.
His family said he was hardworking, and recently bought a semi-truck.
