JSO: Jacksonville man, 79, passed out on motorcycle after beating

Jennifer Price, 37, was arrested Tuesday after beating an elderly man until he passed out, according to a Jacksonville Sheriff's Office police report.

According to the responding officer, the victim, a 79-year-old man, was unconscious, lying on the seat of a motorcycle.

The report said the victim, who suffered life-threatening injuries, was transported to a hospital by rescue. The suspect was lying on the ground when officers arrived, according to the report, but she was not injured.

According to the report, witnesses told officers they had seen Price hitting the victim with a glass item, causing the victim to bleed, and then she continued to hit the victim with what witnesses said looked like a stick from the yard.

The report said an officer found a stick with blood on it in the yard. It also said the officer could see broken glass and bodily fluids on the floor through an open door.
