Kid Care Report: Progressive Learning Center

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The Kid Care crew traveled to Progressive Learning Center on Hamilton Street in Jacksonville for a check of what inspectors found there.  It's a big center licensed for 125 children.

The state inspector goes through a checklist of 63 areas to determine what's going and what's not at places like this.  On Progressive Learning Centers most recent inspection 10 violations were noted on the report.  

Some of the problems here included, an area of the facility was observed to not be in good repair, and there were issues with the outdoor play area and outdoor equipment.  By now everything should be fixed.  But it doesn't take away from the fact that Progressive Learning Center Missed The Mark on this inspection.

There were two centers that had perfect inspections.  St. Luke Child Care Center in Middleburg and Arlington Baptist Childcare Center in Jacksonville were both On The Mark.
