TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — A Lake City woman claimed a $1 million prize on a scratch-off, the Florida Lottery said.
Kelsey Park, 24, got a winning ticket on a $20 Gold Rush Classic Scratch-Off game. She chose to receive her winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $710,000.
Park purchased her winning ticket from Stop-N-Go Food Store, located at 605 Southwest Main Boulevard in Lake City. The store will get a $2,000 bonus commission for selling the winning Scratch-Off ticket.
The $20 Gold Rush Classic game launched in October 2018 and gives players the opportunity to win up to $5,000,000. The Florida Lottery said the overall odds of winning are one-in-2.99.
