LifeSouth holds blood drives ahead of holiday season

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Here’s your chance to give the gift of life this holiday season with a blood donation.

LifeSouth says the national supply of blood is at a deficit and during the holiday season, it sees a decline in blood donations.

The organization currently serves 70% of hospital beds in Northeast Florida so the need for blood is crucial.

Thursday, November 18, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Friday, November 19, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
