The Jacksonville Jaguars took home the first win of the season against the New York Giants Sunday, but it's not just the team bringing home success.

“Any time the Jags do well, people come out and buy our stuff,” Jam Clothing co-owner, Joshua Garrett said. “Another thing, we have unique stuff you can’t find anywhere else.”

Garrett partnered with Armando Mitra to create Jam Clothing. It’s an apparel start-up that showcases the culture of Northeast Florida.

The company is two years old, and Garrett said business started to “explode” after the Jaguars’ successful season last year. Mitra said they are hopeful for another good year.

“Very optimistic,” Mitra said. “We have a very good defense, very suffocating defense. Looks like Blake Bortles has been making strides, so I think we can put this together and make this a really good season.”

The Jaguars told Action News Jax they have sold an NFL-leading 13,000 new season tickets for the new season.

With the increase in sales, the franchise also made changes to TIAA Bank Field, including new food options for concessions and a dog park within the stadium.

“Jacksonville, it’s a big small town,” longtime fan and Jacksonville native Josh Carter said. “Lots of heritage here, people are born and raised here, been here for a long time.

They love this team. Now that they have all this energy around them they want to see them prosper and go forward.”

The first home game is scheduled for Sunday, Sept. 16, starting at 4:25 p.m.
