Jacksonville, Fl — Early morning showers taper off and, eventually, sunshine breaks out by this afternoon. Action News Jax Meteorologist Trevor Gibbs is tracking lower humidity and temperatures near average in the upper 70s today.

We drop to the upper 40s Tuesday morning and rise back to about 80 degrees in the afternoon.
Midweek looks just as nice and not as chilly in the morning on Wednesday. Afternoon temperatures rebound into the low 80s Wednesday and Thursday.
Much warmer air returns by Friday with temperatures nearing 90 degrees. The weekend starts well above average in the upper 80s. We’ll see scattered afternoon showers develop.
Sunday will be partly sunny with only an isolated shower and temperatures near 80 degrees.
