Man collides with Baker County Sheriff’s Office patrol car, arrested for DUI

BAKER COUNTY, Fla. — A Sanderson man was arrested Friday night after driving into a Baker County Sheriff’s Office patrol car.

Florida Highway Patrol says just before midnight Saturday, the 27-year-old driver was traveling on SR 121 when he struck the back of a police vehicle that was blocking the road at the scene of a previous crash.

Troopers say the patrol car was unoccupied at the time of the incident.

The driver, who was reportedly not injured in the crash, was taken to the Baker County jail and charged with DUI, DUI with property damage and driving on a suspended license.
