The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office is investigating after a man was shot in the back in the Southside Estates area on Friday night.
Just after 7:30 p.m., officers were called to the 11000 block of Beach Boulevard, where they found a man shot in the back.
UPDATE: #JSO says man with gunshot to back ended up on Beach Blvd after getting shot on Alden Rd. Taken to hospital. No suspect description.

He told police the shooting happened in the 10300 block of Alden Road.
Police do not have a description of the suspect at this time. JSO's aggravated battery unit is investigating the incident.
