Man shot multiple times in Mandarin parking lot, Jacksonville police say

A man was shot multiple times early Wednesday morning in Mandarin, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office.

Officers responded to the the scene in the 4000 block of Sunbeam Road where they found a man with multiple gunshot wounds.

Police said the victim stated he was shot while sitting in his vehicle in the parking lot talking.

He was taken to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The victim and witness were not able to provide a description of the suspect(s), police said, but stated the suspect(s) were driving a white SUV.
