Motorcycle driver charged with DUI manslaughter after woman killed in 2018 Jacksonville Beach crash

JACKSONVILLE BEACH, Fla. — The Jacksonville Beach Police Department made an arrest Thursday in a fatal October 2018 motorcycle crash.

Konstantine Rudenko, 29, is facing a charge of DUI manslaughter in the death of 22-year-old Leola-Rose Williams, according to court records.

Results of a blood draw showed Rudenko's blood alcohol content was above the legal limit, according to a release from JBPD.

The crash happened at Beach Boulevard and 1st Street. Rudenko was driving a motorcycle and failed to negotiate the roundabout at Beach Boulevard and struck the center island landscaping wall.

Williams was Rudenko's passenger. She was thrown from the bike and later died. Rudenko was hurt in the crash.
