Nassau County family raising money for two boys after parents killed in apparent murder-suicide

Family is raising money for two boys after their parents were found dead from an apparent murder-suicide in Nassau County on New Year's Eve.

Deputies found Lowell Stanley, 43, and his wife Rebecca Suzanne Stanley, 40, dead from gunshot wounds at their Bryceville home after a 911 call from their 12-year-old son.

Deputies said they believe the 8- and 12-year-old boys were sleeping at the time of the shooting.

"The family needs help covering expenses to care for the boys and bury our loved ones," the family wrote on a GoFundMe page.
