Alleged serial exposer arrested again in Nassau County

NASSAU COUNTY, Fla. — An alleged serial exposer struck again in Nassau County.

Greg Osgood was arrested Thursday for the fifth time on a charge of exposing sex organs, according to jail records.

The Nassau County Sheriff’s Office said the charge stems from an incident in October.

The report said a woman was stopped at a stop sign in front of the Home Depot on S.R. 200 when Osgood rolled down his window and shook his private parts at her.

The victim said Osgood’s pants were pulled down, completely exposing himself.

Investigator said Osgood has been suspected of or accused of at least four similar criminal cases investigated by the Nassau County Sheriff’s Office, as well as two by the Fernandina Beach Police Department.

The report said Osgood exposed himself in front of children.

Court documents show that a day before his latest arrest, the mother of Osgood’s children wrote a judge a letter and said he needs professional help.

In the letter, she said jail time or probation was not the answer, and asked the judge to find Osgood a program “to help him face and deal with the past trauma in his life.”

Osgood’s bond was set at $50,002, which is more than his prior arrests on similar charges combined.
