NASSAU COUNTY, Fla. — A Girl Scout troop in Nassau County said it received a $50 counterfeit bill while selling cookies.
WHAT WE KNOW:
- The Scouts were selling cookies at the Publix in Yulee on Saturday when it happened.
- The troop leader tells Action News Jax reporter Alicia Tarancon that she was depositing bills at the bank when the teller told her she had a fake bill.
- They did not file a report with the Nassau County Sheriff’s Office or the Fernandina Beach Police Department.
