JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — There is bad news for Jacksonville Jaguars fans who enjoy tailgating, but not attending the games.

The Jaguars are now telling tailgaters that they have to pack up their tailgates 30 minutes after kickoff. This will be enforced next season.

According to the director of communications for the Jaguars, Amanda Holt, this change has been made in "keeping with recommended NFL Security and Fan Code of Conduct best practices."

"We're working this season to educate our fans, before strictly enforcing it next season. This is a leaguewide best practice that is being implemented nationwide," Holt said.

Correction: A previous version of this story said that tailgaters would be asked to pack up 30 minutes before kickoff. This policy will take effect next season and will actually be enforced 30 minutes after kickoff.
