ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. — Need something fun to do this holiday season? The 26th Annual Nights of Lights begins this weekend in St. Augustine.

During this time, the historic city is decked out with about three million lights that people all over come to the area to see.

Day one of the months long event will start with a live performance at 4 p.m. outside the Lightner Museum.

The All Star Orchestra will also perform at the Plaza de la Constitución at 5:30 p.m., before the actual  countdown for the lighting beginning at 6:30 p.m.

There's a free shuttle that will take you from one of two parking lots to the visitor center. You can head to the St. Johns County Health Department at 200 San Sebastian View or the San Marco Lot at 301 San Marco Ave. Those shuttles run 8 a.m to 11 p.m. each night throughout the holiday season.

There’s another option on Saturday night only, where you can hop on a shuttle from Anastasia Island. That one runs from 4 to 11 p.m. from Anastasia Baptist Church at 1650 A1A South or St. Augustine Beach City Hall at 2200 A1A South. It’s free as well.
