One-day blast of cool air before next warming trend

Jacksonville, Fl — After Wednesday’s storms and cold front, skies have cleared and temperatures are much cooler. Action News Jax Chief Meteorologist Mike Buresh is tracking winds out of the north and cooler temperatures only rising to the mid-60s. I’ll be mostly sunny throughout the afternoon.

Temps overnight will fall again into the low 50s in Jacksonville and upper 40s inland.

Then another warming trend begins by Friday with partly sunny conditions and temperatures near the mid-70s. The average high for early December is 70.

Saturday and Sunday are looking rather warm but it’ll be dry and sunny. Temps climb to near 80 degrees both days of the weekend. And the trend stays mild into early next week.
