Online dating leads to lewd battery arrest

The Clay County Sheriff’s Office arrested Nigel Alexander White for lewd battery.

Police spoke to a mother in June in reference to her daughter being the victim of a sexual battery that took place in April.

Her daughter said she had been having sex with a man she met on a dating website.

The man’s screen name was “Rainbowtrash,” and the mom found out his real name was Nigel.  She also found out he was possibly 22 years old and living in the Jacksonville area.

A warrant was issued for White’s arrest and police found him at 2618 Paces Perry Road.

White was arrested on Aug. 8 and charged with lewd battery. He has a bond on $15,003.
