GAINESVILLE, Fla. - Alachua County Sheriff's Office deputies found an alligator and a shark in the same freshwater creek in Gainesville -- over sixty miles away from the nearest beach.

In a tweet, the Sheriff's Office said this was "the most #Florida call of the week."

    TRENDING:

When police arrived on the scene, they located the dead five-foot shark in Lake Forest Creek, which they said was caught elsewhere and dumped in the inland creek.

They also spotted a live gator in the same creek, which would be an otherwise normal wildlife encounter -- if it wasn't sharing a space with an oceanic apex predator.
