JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A pedestrian was killed in a crash on the Westside this morning.
According to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office, a motorcyclist was traveling south on Roosevelt Boulevard approaching the intersection at St. Johns Avenue when a pedestrian walked onto the road.
The pedestrian was hit and died at the scene, JSO said.
The motorcyclist was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries, according to the Sheriff’s Office.
