Photo: Florida bobcat has huge green iguana in mouth

A tourist snapped a photo of a Florida bobcat with a non-native green iguana in its mouth at the Loxahatchee Wildlife Refuge in Boynton Beach.

The photo, taken by Vincent Sinagria while on a tour of the refuge, showed a green iguana being taken away by the bobcat.

Wildlife officials said the iguana is a non-native species to Florida that can cause major issues by digging into the ground and damaging seawalls and sidewalks.

The iguana population in south Florida has been growing and causing various issues.
