Police: 16-year-old kidnaps, robs Fletcher High School student

Police said they have located 16-year-old Cashmere Bland.

Police say Bland forced a student inside a car at gunpoint in broad daylight.

Police say everything it happened between Fletcher High School and the Boys and Girls Club.

They said people should consider Bland armed and dangerous. He is also accused of armed robbery.

“One of the Fletcher students was walking home, and at that point he was walking home, and he was confronted by the suspect by the Boys and Girls Club, and the weapon was pointed at him,” said Thomas Crumley with Jacksonville Beach Police Department.

“The suspect demanded he get out of the car, he left with him,” said Crumley.

Police say he took the victim to a nearby ATM and forced him to take out some money. He then dropped him back off near Fletcher High School and left.
