JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office is investigating a reported possible abduction of a female possibly as young as 15 years old.

Police say the incident happened in the late evening hours Thursday in the Arlington area. According to a report they received, a car was traveling northbound on Lee Road and as the car approached Monument Road, a Hispanic female tried to exit the car.
A Hispanic male driver then pulled the female back into the car as she tried to get out, causing her to lose one of her Nike black slides with white writing on it in the intersection.

JSO said the car, described as a blue, newer model, Honda four-door sedan was last seen driving southbound on Monument Road.
The female appeared to be 15 to 20 years old, according to police, and has long black hair. She was wearing a white dress with print.

Police say efforts to find the car and the possible victim have been unsuccessful at this time.
