Police: Man found dead after 6 shots ring out in Tallyrand

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office is investigating the Friday night shooting death of a man near Tallyrand.     

It happened just before 8 p.m. near the corner of East Eleventh Street and Franklin Street. People told police they heard six shots, but did not see what happened.     

When police arrived, they found a man shot to death on the sidewalk.     

Right now, there is no suspect information available.
