Woman shot at a Northside food store overnight

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A woman received treatment at a hospital after being shot late Monday night.

The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office responded to a person shot just after 9 p.m. at a food store on North Myrtle Avenue.

Officers arrived and found a woman suffering from a gunshot wound. She was taken to UF Health Jacksonville with non-life-threatening injuries.
