JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A newly proposed city council bill would grant $7,204,738.31 to 66 different organizations to help with COVID-19 impacts.

This is the second round of this relief grant. The first round granted over sixteen million dollars to over 70 organizations.

All of this money comes from the CARES Act Fund appropriations to the City of Jacksonville.

Businesses on the list include several religious organizations, and non-profits like Hubbard House, Inc.

Some of the largest allocations would be dedicated to the North Florida Council, Inc. Boy Scouts of America ($350,000), Jacksonville FC, Inc. ($360,000), United Way of Northeast Florida, Inc. ($562,500), and the Regional Food Bank of Northeast Florida, Inc. ($630,000).
